Application and audience

For airbrushing, miniature and scale-model painting, and light fume extraction at soldering stations.

Panels join with neodymium magnets, with no screws between them. The booth can grow with side or stacked modules, and the filter sits in a removable box for quick swaps.

Operation and assembly

  1. Print the complete profile on MakerWorld. Plates 7 (lower flap) and 8 (filter cutting guide) are optional.
  2. Install the M3 heat-set inserts and glue the magnets into the panels, checking polarity before gluing.
  3. Mount the 200 mm fan and cut the filter to fit the removable box.
  4. Snap the panels together with the magnets. To expand, add modules to the sides or on top. The full step-by-step is in the assembly guide (Instructions.pdf) on MakerWorld.

Printing information

  • Material: PLA.
  • "Complete Booth – 8 plates" profile, prepared for Bambu Lab printers (about 1.3 kg of filament).
  • Other printers: build volume larger than 256 × 256 × 256 mm.

Care and use

The upper flap has been temporarily removed from the profile while a redesigned hinge is developed; the booth prints and assembles normally without it. The booth helps capture paint overspray, but it does not replace a ventilated room or the protection recommended by your paint or solder manufacturer.

Project questions

Are the fan and filter included?

No. This is a digital project: you print the parts and buy the fan, filter, magnets and screws separately.

Can I expand the booth later?

Yes. The system is modular: side and stacked modules attach with the same magnets.
