Application and audience

For miniature painters, scale modelers and anyone painting batches of small parts.

Each position has a stepped hole: the upper section supports bamboo skewers and the lower section supports thin metal clip sticks. The closed bottom keeps rods from passing through the base.

Operation and assembly

  1. Choose a preset size or customize base length, width and hole diameters on MakerWorld.
  2. Print the base as one part, without supports. No assembly is needed.
  3. Use the section matching your chosen rod and check the fit with your actual sticks before supporting parts.

Printing information

  • Use one of the three profiles or customize the geometry before slicing.
  • Print without supports and with low infill. Consult the profile for full settings.

Care and use

Check the fit with your own rods. Diameter variation, printer calibration, filament and slicer compensation affect the clearance.

Project questions

Do I need separate bases for bamboo and metal?

No. The stepped holes support both systems in their corresponding sections.

Can I adjust the holes?
